I'm new to the Nor Cal group and it looks like you are planning a drive in Sept to Tahoe. Which way do you plan on going? I live on Hwy 4, 7500ft up Ebbetts Pass out of Angels Camp. It is an easy run to Tahoe for us, might be able to join in. FYI, if you have never been on 4, it is beautiful, way less traffic than 50 and twistys for miles!!!
