Two weeks ago, clipped a deer that ran out in front of me on the way to work. Tore up the left side of the car and busted the head light, bumper, fender, etc. Signal light quit working at that time. I shrugged it off due to the fact that I just clipped a 100lb animal at 65mph and I assumed the bulb was busted.

Brought the car into a body shop and had everything fixed including new lights. Got the car back on Friday and noticed that the driver's side signal bulb is out once I got down the road. I finally got a chance this evening to look at it and put in a new bulb as the first trouble shooting step. No dice, no signal light.

Started looking down the harness and I cannot find any broken wires and the connectors themselves look good. I have not had a chance yet to put a meter on it as I ran out of light this evening. I guess I'll try checking that tomorrow. Could it possibly be a fuse that popped during the accident? I wouldn't figure there would be a fuse per signal lamp side on a car. Headlight works fine and the side marker on the fender lights up. DRL's also working.

Parts that got replaced:

Front bumper/bumper cover and valence
Front grille
Driver's side light (RS package HID light)
Driver's side fog lamp
Driver's side fender

2013 LS Radio/HVAC Failure Progression

Hi all. I’ve got a 2013 Camaro LS (non‑MyLink) and the factory radio/HVAC control module has basically reached end‑of‑life. Here’s the full progression in case anyone recognizes this pattern.

Early symptoms (intermittent):

Radio would randomly shut off or reboot

Static in the speakers that sometimes matched the turn signal

Clock drifting

CD ejecting on startup

HVAC panel flashing while the radio tried to boot

As it got worse:

Panel blinking constantly during startup (see link below)

HVAC fan turning on/off in sync with the blinking

Sometimes it would “settle down” after a few minutes and work normally

Cold weather made the symptoms less severe

Now that it’s hotter out (around 85°F), the symptoms are much worse and more frequent

Current state (basically failed):

Radio won’t turn on at all

Display stays dark

Entire front panel blinks endlessly

HVAC controls keep rebooting

AC no longer gets fully cold

Heat no longer gets fully hot

Turn‑signal click sound is gone

Seatbelt chime is gone

What still works:
Turn‑signal lights, BCM functions, and all mechanical HVAC components.

From what I can tell, the radio/HVAC faceplate module is stuck in a brownout/reboot loop — internal voltage regulators, timing crystal, and DSP are failing. Since this module also generates the turn‑signal click and chimes, losing those lines up with the rest of the failure.

Looking for confirmation from others who’ve had this exact failure and what replacement route you took (OEM, refurbished, or aftermarket - preferably not touchscreen).
Also noticed small water puddle directly under the exhaust pipe, just downstream of rattling cat. This was right after a cold start and idling for a minute. We also just recently had some humid weather.

So would this be failing catalytic converter and an exhaust leak? Time for LTs and high flow cats? :faint::smiling1:

My Chevy dealer replaced my power steering pump, but afterwards, it was sporadically whistling/screeching. They tried topping off fluid but no change. Dealer decided it was a faulty pump from First Brands...which is now out of business...and they can't find another replacement. Steering appears to be fine, so noise is the issue, which is worse on some days versus others (and doesn't seem to be dictated by the weather). Any suggestions?
