Hey all. After talking at Cocopah last night I wanted to get a thread together with everyone's times for when you plan on leaving to head over to the fest, that way others can group together if you are leaving near the same times. I'll update this first post as you reply with your times.

i'm going to try to get out of work at noon that friday and be on the road by 1pm.

Im with Chris, I will be leaving at around 1pm on Friday or whenever Chris gets out of work lol.

We're hoping to go with you up to Quartzite. Has anyone contacted any of the news stations up there? Sounds like that would be some impressive footage watching 100+ Camaros coming down the freeway. Four lanes 25-deep... WOW!

Updated. Great to hear everyone! There have been a few people involved in the 'big stuff'. I don't know if media has been taken care of, but I do know they have contacted law enforcement. Quartsite PD has given us a good meeting point for everyone after they all get gas and will be taking care of traffic to get us all on the highway. The Fest is also planning a cruise on Saturday morning, from the host hotel site to Firebird via a pre planned 30-45 minute cruise route. PD in the Chandler/Phoenix area is being coordinated to give us an escort. I'm almost positive this will make Phoenix media..

I am so excited. I can't wait to see all those pretty cars, and this time I get to drive.

Hope to meet some of you at the Fest... and would like to join up for the cruise back down to Yuma. My car is pretty easy to spot so be sure and say Hi...

Hey mlee, good to see you again.. You'll be in the pace car I assume? Are you planning on driving here Saturday night or Sunday morning?

Plan on arriving Thursday and leaving for Yuma on Sunday... Will be in the Pace Car so shouldn't be too hard to find...

i got off on friday so Juice, Jbird, and myself are going to head up that morning.

For the Thursday convoy. Looks like the Vegas/Utah/Canada group has decided that meeting with the California group is going to get them there too late and will be going earlier in the day. So as of now, we will be meeting with 58 cars from California in Quartzsite.

No news yet on the Saturday Cruise.

Just got word that a small group from San Diego (6 or 7 cars) will be stopping for lunch in Yuma on their way to the Fest. I'll probably go greet them when they get here.

Gracie signed us up for both, but we've decided just to take my green one. Bummer, only 58 cars

Latest word is Vegas decided to ditch the early group and meet up with us and California after all

Latest count is 65 cars from California and 27 from Vegas. Plus our 3 makes about 95!!!!!!!!!!

When and where do you want to meet up on Thursday? 96...AWESOME!

I figure we can meet out in the foothills near you since we have to come that way anyway. I was thinking 2:30 should get us to Quartzsite with time to spare. I don't know the foothills that great. Where is a good spot to meet?
