I've just been reading some of the post on the TN MUSIC CITY CAMARO site. They are already setting up meets for the months of Jan/Feb/March/April. That's a pretty active group down there as I have met several of them. I'd like to attend those meets BUT that's 3 hrs of driving each way. So that's not going to happen unless it's a big event. Who would be interested in meeting around the Louisville/Lexington area once a month to talk about 2012 car shows/mods/BS/show off their beautiful ride/get to know each other/break some of the winter blues? Post up if this sounds like fun. We need a nice size group or small who really would like to make this happen. Post up if you want to see this happen. Leave some kind of contact info (phone or email). Thanks and keep it out of the ditch this winter.

Phil, I know you will keep the site updated with replys from the northern brethern. Lexington and Louisville are only 2-2.5 hours away for me so count me in with any plans you make.

As Phil said, those Music City people are getting super active and it is time for the KY people to step up our game. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy hanging with the Music City Club but they give me a hard time about my UK canopy(Hey Mike, C A T S, CATS! CATS! CATS!)

Good to hear from you Brian. I'll deffinately keep you in the loop. Hopefully I'll get more interest here. There is a lot of really good car shows up this way all spring and summer long. This past year I got around and showed my car in 7 of them. I also drove by others just to check them out. There were too many for me to see all. I did get a good feel though of ones worth my time. There has to be a lot of shows over around Lexington and in between. With a little interest and help we can easily be quite active up here. We'll see though.

I'm in southern Indiana just outside Louisville. Maybe we could just have a get together for lunch one Saturday our something, just to meet everyone.

I will be home from Afghanistan in January. I would love to get out and show off my ride. Would be nice to see what everyone else is doing too. Name the time and place, weather permitting ofcourse, I am in!

CamaroHutch, good to hear from you. Everyone keep an eye on this site to see how many more we can get to join us. So far there is 4 of us which is plenty to help break the winter blues.

I love this idea. Now that the hubby is home we both would love to do this. We're in ft knox area so all the places that have been suggested are great for us.

OK Phil, what kind of events you got in mind? I am meeting with the Music City group tomorrow in Rivergate(northside of Nashville). I will get information from them about stuff down south to share incase Jan or other Music City folks are not able to make it up to Louisville for a CKCC meeting. I think January 28th or 29th might be a good day for use to get togther for a "planning" meeting.
