Hello All, I am trying to get all the details worked out but as of right now we are going to have our next club meeting at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY on May 22nd. They are very excited about us coming and we will have our own area for parking set aside for just our Camaro's. Thanks to Jason (jrpxxii) for all your help in getting this organized. I couldn't have done it without you. We will also be able to run our cars this day if anyone is interested. Please let me know as soon as you can because I think they will get some trophies made up for us if we want to have a shootout just between the camaros. Not sure about all the details of this so post up here if your interested in doing something like this. I'll get more information about this soon. Also, I'm going to see about a police escort through town taking us to somewhere to eat or maybe starting the day at Cracker Barrel right off the interestate and then going to Beech Bend later in the morning with the police escort. I think that would be cool to and would probably work out better too. Maybe meet at Cracker Barrel for breakfast around 9:30 to 10:30am and leave for Beech Bend around 12:00pm??? Whats everyones thoughts on this idea?

Any chance of swinging by the Corvette museum for some picture? I think that would be a great publicity for CKCC. We are chevys number 2 sports car and tieing the Corvettes heritage and Kentucky to us would give us some publicity and get more owners involved. Just my thoughts

Yeah that was another idea I had too. I am also talking to a friend of mine about taking pictures of our cars if anyone would be interested.

I think the corvette museum is a great idea and if everyone has the time, we can make this an entire day event which would be great to have our own mini c5fest here in BG.

Sounds like a great plan. Would be great if we could get all the cars close to the logo in the bricks and get some good pictures.

If we made a day of the meet, could everyone make it? I think thats a Great idea. We could meet around say 10am at the Corvette Museum and eat lunch there then go to the Raceway around say 1 or 2pm. How does that sound? please give me some feedback.

One more thing, Would anyone be interested in a tour of the factory or the museum? I'll get the information as far as pricing to let everyone know. I live just about 20 minutes away and I have never even been to the museum or factory either so I would like to if everyone else does. Just let me know.

I have been to both the factory and museum in the last year. They are both worth the visit.

Well it doesnt look like i'll be able to attend the 2nd meeting....maybe eventually my schedule will work out so i can attend one of our meets. I'll be at Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH that weekend. I already have tickets or i'd skip the concert....racing at Beech Bend would be sweet!!!

We will be there unless something major changes... Corvette museum and tour sounds good!!! I am all about the ride with jrpxxii!!! No need for diapers, though... I live for the thrill!!! The faster, the better in my opinion! Also, turleylox, let me know if your photographer does not work out. I know a really great one here that would probably be real reasonable on pricing...CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!
