Here is what I have posted in the forum asking anyone who would like to come join us. I will have concrete details this afternoon, but May 22 is going to be a FUN day.

I would like to invite all camaro friends for a fun day in Bowling Green, KY on May 22. As of right now our regional club is hosting our 2nd meeting and the details are being finalized as we speak, but here are the plans. We are going to meet at the Corvette Museum at approximately 10:00 and have lunch and anyone wanting to tour the Corvette Museum will be able to do so. We will then caravan over to Beech Bend Raceway where they are going to have a special section roped off for all of us to setup and display our cars. In addition to this, they are going to have a camaro shootout for anyone wanting to participate. There will also be an open track test and tune all afternoon also for people wanting to run their car down the track for fun. This is a 1/4 track and is there first day open after all the flooding, so it will be a huge event and we would love to have as many camaros show up as possible. Please PM me for more details or questions and to confirm you will be able to make it as it should be a great time for all. I believe it is $5 to get in the gates and another $5 if you wish to get on the track but I am working these details out and will have concrete details by end of day.

Just to let everyone know who plans on attending, the track will not open until 5pm so anyone planning on staying around can make plans for a great evening. I have talked to the owner and he is going to have us a special reserved parking area on the oval race track and we can all line up around the track. He is also going to do a camaro shootout and give out a trophy to the fastest camaro and runner-up. Everyone please post if you are coming so I can give some idea of how many to expect.
