I just ordered a Whipple, anyone up to give me a hand with installing it?

What's getting put in:

The Whipple kit-here
Headers-getting coated-shipped-Monday
Gauge pod and gauges (boost and fuel/air)-here
ADM Race scoop and washer bottle-shipped-installed
Hurst Shifter-installed
Gill stripes-installed
Flashy Surprise-shipped-Monday

can i drive it afterwards?!?!!

by the May meeting I should have a massive amount of upgrades done. the Whipple, CAI, louver,and an orange bowtie for my grill

i don't know how much help i can be as i don't know much about installing superchargers but i can give my 2 cents.

where are you going to do this?

I'm not sure. Everything but the whipple I can do on my own and its too much work for the tech day

I'd pm GMRULZ. He had the whipple installed on his. Maybe just for things to look out for during install, or a shop that could do it for you. Some things are better left to the professionals..... Let me know, will help out where I can....

Do some reading from Whip and here on the forums. I think you have to mod a few things, not hard but would be better if you could get a good heads up on all that is needed.

I'm not in a rush at all and I would greatly appreciate the help. I might wait to do it until I get new headers so I can knock both out at the same time. I did just find out that my CAI is on back order until July...

Well I would say wait till you have all the parts for the blower. What headers did you get? Cold air?

I haven't ordered to headers yet, but I want to get the borla shorties. the cold air is a Spectre 9908, but its on back order until July.

I canceled the order for the CAI, I'm not going to wait until August to see it. I've been thinking of going with ADM now though.

Just my 2 cents but if your gonna supercharge it you might as well go with long tubes. You'll get a lot more performance from those verse shorties. ARH, Kooks or Stainless Works are really good. Also ADM or CAI are both the best cold air intakes. Check out the jennety cai test thread on here, they got some good info on cold air intakes. Are you coming to the meet this wednesday?
