A lot of us don't have the warrantee anymore so I was wonder who's doing what. I was needing a brake upgrade and then the rearend started making some noise. So now I'm doing a few things and at the same time getting ready for a few more ponies under the hood.

Got my car up in Indy at this time where Bruce at RAMONDS ALIGNMENT is upgrading brakes/one pc drive shaft/1400 hp axles/shipped differencial up to Jannetty for his posi fix/chrome paint on the washer bottle/sound deadening mat in the trunk all the way up to the front seats to quiten the interior.

I got the non-rs model, so i'm doing halo's and hid conversion. man i shoulda just forked out the money up front, it comes out to about the same.

I learned that lesson a long time ago. When ever you buy a new car get every option you can stand. Those extra options really make the difference and only make a few more $$ per month on the payment. If I were buying a new Camaro now knowing what I do now I would DEFFINATELY buy the ZL1 LOADED. I would have a great car and save money. Oh well I have a great car it's been fun getting there.

I agree 100%. I told my wife about the ZL1 today. She said for $55K you should have waited and gotten it instead of all you've been doing to your SS. I think I might get the ZL1 front end, my halo's and be done with it.

Hey GunnyG, I got a little secret for you. LOL!!!! You will never be DONE. IT'S ADDICTION. We have heard so many others before you say the same thing INCLUDING MYSELF. Work on getting a raise/second job/saving your change/delivering pizzas/raking leaves/cutting grass/fixing computers. It sure is fun though. It truly is something you and the wife can do together (car shows/meets).

She's not really into the whole meetings, shows, cruise thing yet. She's got a business that keeps her pretty busy. I just joined C5, met up with some folks Saturday and did my first cruise. All their cars were nice. From the all stock, superchargers, and customs. I can see how addicting and expensive this is gonna be.

Gunny, try and get her out away from work whenever you can. It'll give her a chance to recharge her batteries. A change of scenery is just what the doctor ordered. Take her to a car show or two. Sometimes even the freshly cleaned stock cars win trophies. Set the first one you win right in her hands. Besides the two of you will meet some really nice and fun people........................................ CHA CHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've gone to the dealer auto shows before. LA & SD. She loves those. I've been to many local car shows. Where I grew up, there was always a big one right in Apr/May timeframe. And one late Aug/early Sep. I love em. She likes seeing the new concepts to see what she'll be getting in a few years. Wanted to go to SD this year, but we'll be in Vegas for NYE.

That ZL1 sounds like it's going to be one heck of a car. It takes a lot of mods added to a 2SS/RS before it becomes equivilant to the ZL1. I'm past that or I would consider trading. Just the brakes would be a $4000 upgrade. Even the motor starts off stronger. I would bet you could safely bolt on and extra 200 hp (bigger blower/LT headers/cam/water-meth) and all the other components would still hold up. That is a huge advantage. AND that would be one BAD ASS mo sheen. JUST SAY N.

Well, got my Eagle Eyes w/HIDs done. Got a heritage grille going in next week. Stripes NS-3 style going on next month. Then audio, maybe before stripes.

Sounds like you're having fun GunnyG. Two weeks ago I was out your way in SD and LA visiting my NAVY SON.............Having my TERMINATOR HOOD painted next week. Just had J-PIPES added to my exhaust. Took out 80% of the drone. Well worth it.
