Does anyone in the Newport News, Colony Pines area, want to help me do a HUD install tomorrow?
From what I gather, I really only need help pulling the dash and putting it back in. I imagine that if I have everything else torn apart I would only need someone's help for about an hour.

Hope you got a helping hand. if it was next week I'd be able to ride over from Suffolk. I have in laws over till Tuesday and don't think the wife would like it if I just up and left .

I got everything out by myself without any issues. I kind of stopped at the cutting part. I'm scared to make the cut. Hopefully I can get it in just as easily as it came out.

It is easer to reinstall it with an extra hand. On cutting the hole, cut it on the small side then mount the hud and check where you need to trim. Remove the hud and cut just some of what you think you need. Remount hud and recheck. Keep on doing this untill the hole is in the right place and the trim will lock in. TAKE YOUR TIME!

I cut the holes and got everything mounted to the dash. The holes came out rather clean, and I'm pretty picky.
I'm not going to install the dash until tomorrow. I'm done for the day. I spent 3 hours just cutting the holes getting them just right. I even managed to not break the tab on the backside that 2SSRS says you have to break. I just got a screwdriver behind the dash and unscrewed it.

When I put my HUD in the only time I had some help is when I was setting the dash back into the car. It was alot of help. I wish I had some time to give you a hand but just to busy tomorrow. After 2 years I will no longer be the only 2010 Camaro in Virginia with HUD.

Yeah, the price is a lot better than it used to be.
I can definitely see needing some help on putting the dash back in. I'm going to run the wiring harness, and clean up my stereo wiring harness (since I have everything open). Then install the dash. Hopefully it's not too bad.

Here is a pic of it working. It's probably the same as every other HUD out there.
