I have heard from the ZL1 guys that heat is a problem, so I have done a lot to keep things cool. Hex vents in the hood, a splitter to drive more air into the grille, opened up the mail slot, and plumbed in a remote oil cooler down low up front. My coolant temps rarely get above 205 even after a full 25 minute run at VIR in high 90 degree heat at the end of June. Before the oil cooler my oil temp gauge went into the red but honestly I am going solo these days and keep forgetting to look down at the oil gauge to see where the temps are. But if coolant stays just over 200, oil can't be a problem...
