Hello Fellow Camaro Enthusiast,
I know a lot of you have seen my name floating around the forums, and have heard the scuttle that a new club is forming based out of Louisville, and I have had the great opportunity to meet and cruise with many of you already!
Well not to attempt to steal members from other clubs, but the time to get the Louisville Club officially started has arrived; Several of us have been promoting the new club for the last couple of months trying to spread the word, and now it’s time to see if that promotion has paid off!
I would like to formally invite all Generations of Camaro owners in the Kentuckiana Region
:
(Louisville/S.Indiana/Lexington/Cincinnatti-N.KY/Elizabethtown/and everywhere else in-between).
To join us for our
FIRST INAUGURAL MEETING
, Scheduled for
Wednesday, July 25, 2012 @ 7:30 PM
at
Bachman Chevrolet – Main Showroom - Conference room, 9650 Bluegrass Parkway, Louisville KY
.
We are still in the process of selecting Club Officers, setting up our bylaws and really determining exactly what our club goals, mission and objectives are going to be.
So if you have ever wanted to be in on the ground floor of a new club, here is your chance!
Note: There will be incentives offered by Bachman for Club members (Details still in the works).
For our First official club event I would like to propose we attend:
“Cruisin' The Heartland”
Saturday July 28 - Louisville Rally Point:
Historic Churchill Downs
-
9:00 AM
I have made arrangements and obtained permission for our group to meet in the Downs parking lot located at 700 Central Ave. Louisville, KY (Main Entrance Lot) and have the opportunity to take Group and Individual Photos, then we will travel in a Camarovan to
“Cruisin' The Heartland”
in Elizabethtown KY:
http://cruisintheheartland.com/
Leaving by
10:00 AM Sharp
via I-65 S. for E-Town.
My hope is to coordinate a meeting location in E-Town for all participating groups to rally to cruise in and park together, I have made pre-arrangements with the Show organizers for an adequate parking space for 40 (real hopeful I know) and they were ecstatic to have us coming.
Additional meeting location information to follow once determined.
PARKING:
Parking will be along the Historic 31W Corridor and US Hwy 62 including Downtown Elizabethtown.
CRUISE HOURS:
11:00am to 6:00pm
I hope you will join me in getting Louisville on the map for having a great Camaro Club Organization!
Please let me know if you have any questions, want more information or need directions.
I look forward to getting the CLUB off the ground finally!
