can anyone HELP. I have flowmaster hushpower axle back mufflers on my L99 ss i'm thinking about removing the resonator. Does anyone know if this will make a difference in sound.

Definitely! That res is what's shielding the horrible AFM moan. Once it's gone, its on! lol
It will also give you a give exhaust note!

I'd do it. Or just get a long tube header + X pipe system and be done with the exhaust forever, lol.

I would remove the resonator and get a tune to shut off the AFM. First I removed the stock mufflers. Not much difference, removed the resonator and replaced with a x pipe that was much better. The AFM made me drive it in manual mode because I hated the sound with AFM on. After I programmed that out it is really good.

Here's a clip of what mine sounds like now,
Stainless Works LT headers. Fast cats, removed resonater, GMPP axle back exhaust, AFM delete and retuned by Extreme Performance in Florida.
