Are you still going to LA this weekend? If you're coming by Bakersfield hit me up, maybe we can grab lunch.

Those pics look great. She sure does shine up well. I'm still looking for some engine bay pics though.

She's fine. I polished her with Menzerna Thursday and changed the oil & filter Friday morning. I would like to make it faster, I was doing some research on a supercharger and quickly found out the rear end would probably not hold up. Also, the underside of the hood would have to be modified to make it fit. I thought it was a straight bolt on so to speak (fit in the engine compartment without modification).

I spoke to my friend and he thinks the only way you'll get rid of the noise is to have the rotors turned, especially after if they have a lot of miles with the old pads. Two different brake materials (old vs new) on the rotors.

I'll check with a friend tomorrow who does brakes and see if I can get an answer. I bet it's the pads. I have used OEM in the past without any problems on a Ford. However, I recently purchased some Akebona ceramic pads and will give them a shot when the SS needs to be changed. I've also heard Hawk ceramic pads have a tendency to squeal.

Did you have the rotors turned and use OEM pads, or aftermarket pads? It's almost a trial by error. isn't there some anti-squeal compound or shims that can be added to the rear of the pads?

LOL still haven't gotten around to it, actually gotta wash the whole car tomorrow, will probably do it then. Been tryin to address a noisy brake issue the past few days, it's killin me.... Changed the pads a couple weeks ago, and now I'm getting a LOUD, shrill squeal when braking at low speeds, and it's BAD. Argh. Never had this problem on my Z28, I'm at a loss.
