Yeah, I noticed that too. I've been lookin into a new car for a while and the price jumped from around 14-16K to anywhere from 18-25K!! outrageous for me, but if you have a well maintained LE I've seen some listed for 35K

Random question, where'd you get your HALO headlights, I hate the stock ones on the 98-02 they get all cloudy and ruin the front I think. and yours look pretty sweet.

Oh man, you have no idea how hard it is for me to have to wait a whole year to get the 02! the one i'm looking at is a ss vert with a 6spd. I already have all the modifications planned out! lol the thing is, it's about $20k and I only have 7k saved up right now. so I'm gettin a couple jobs this summer to save up for the car and 3500 to go travel Europe next summer! damn I have so much to save up for!

No transplant for me, I definitely don't have the experience or tools to even attempt. I actually plan on getting an 02 SS like yourself.

It's a 3.4 but I'm patiently waiting for that beautiful LS1! lol, another summer of working and I should have enough.

I saw someone with some chrome salad shooters, looked way better than the alloy IMO. Thanks! Perfect first car I think, v6 so not too much power. It was one owner for 142k miles, then I got it so it's been pretty well taken care of. Only bad thing about having it in a high school parking lot is I now have random spots where paint is chipped and my driver rear quarter panel has a major dent in it.

Awh that's too bad! those Z06 rims look pretty good though! I'm stuck with the nice dull alloy ones for now :p
