Hey there! Quick question for you. I seen your reply in a thread stating "
I just did the same process last night. First I heated up the spears with a blow dryer to soften them up. I started peeling them from the tips and took my time but a lot of residue was left over. Sprayed some Goo Gone, let it sit for a few minutes and then rubbed off what I could with a clean towel. Rinse and repeat (minus the rinse ).

I had vinyl rally stripes added this morning to replace my hood spears.

My best piece of advice in this cold weather would be to take your time peeling the spears off. Good luck!

My question is your opinion on vinyl decals versus paint on striping. I recently got my 2011 and i'm going to decal the side gills but leary of ss vinyl stripes on hood and trunk deck as i've read sometimes the heat (especially down here in the south) can cause the paint to bubble. Have you heard/experienced this?
