It was fun though. Took son and his friend. Met about 15 vette guys and thir wives. Had a large crowd around monsterboy. Everyone had either read about it or saw something but ad not seen it inperson. I opened it up and let them have at it. I was confident they knew how to respect a nce car since most of theirs were 25K more than mine. It rained pretty hard for about 15 minutes, no hail. Then we left and I played with a yellow z for a bit......kids in car so I couldn't get to wild. Kd enjoyed the playig around. Big vette get together Sunday at Heritage square.Definately friendly guys. most of them were in their last 50's early 60's though. Got home about 1 1/2 hrs later to find all my cars with blankets and other things protecting them. Sems hailed pretty good for about the same 15 mintes tat it rained heavy in Berthoud. The wiki page here had smoked tail lights on them. I'm lookng at small black door trim protecters for the door edges.

Paul and I just spent a couple hours giving a clean car a detail. Washed and spot free detail dry. Cleaned the mags and polished with some good ol Mothers cream like you would use on your bike. OMFG! Now they look like polished wheels! I dont want to take it out its so damn clean. But it will just get dirty sitting in the garage so what the heck. I remember that thread where some dealer blacked out everything on a silver ice metallic car. If I come across it I will let you know. I dont think I am going to drive to Berthoud for the AW thing tonight. Too far for a Root Beer....lol

yeah kind of what I did with my Harley's. Small things here and there. You did some yourself with the exhausts. Found some smoked lenses on the WIKI section. Now if I could just access the page from their link.

You are sure enjoying the car it sounds like. A lot of little personalized mods going on over there! Window tint guy can smoke the tail lights and side lamps for you. Give him a call.

Did you see the cai on the front page of the website. I asked him if it requires a ECM upgrade.

Monsterboy is at the shop getting the clear bra. Just got off the phone with vinyl graphics and ordered the rally stripes/glossy and rear fin stripes. Should go on early next week! Have fun fishing. Does your brother go to any specific website to find mustang shows. I'd like to bring my car up to some to help sell it. Too busy this weekend to drive up there/Steamboat. But maybe something closer in the next few weekends.
I met a guy in the vette club out in Berthod at an A+W pull-in. He said this Weds they will have a whole bunch of vettes there at 6:30pm. He asked me to come down, alot of them would like to see this car first hand. He was at Purifoy looking at them. I believe he's looking to get one.

James from up in Wyoming is wanting to get a meet together for the weekend of the 27th. I am going to Steamboat for the Mustang show with my brother. Going fishing for some monster fish at Steamboat lake on Sat. Not taking the Camaro cause I dont want some fanboy ford guy to get to jelous and scratch it up. I am leaving on Friday cause there is a bbq in steamboat around 6PM. Yes after re reading your post I thought it sounded like a pretty fair deal. And most important he is close for touch ups if needed. Dont know about doing the whole hood. Hate to lose the depth and shine but the protection would be good. Maybe we need a supersized trojan to drive our cars into for that extra protection when needed. Dont know if the resevoir would drag on the road while driving though!

no $700 is facia,18" up the hoodquarter panels up to wheels,the painted part that runs up the side of the window,door handles and mirrors.
If I paid the $1600 then it's the whole hood plus about anything else I wanted. I like the quality of this guys work,he's fair for this area, 2 more quotes> 1 said $600 approx. the other guy said it's to hard to tell. He's right near my work and will redo anything anytime. Beside he's going to give me a break on the stripe install.

You getting ripped. ABC will do the facia, hood, mirrors, front quarter panels, behind rear wheels for 700.00. Oh wait I just re read yours and you are talking about the whole hood not just an 18 " piece. Maybe not so bad after all.
