One day off and I'm up at 5am.......? Daughters running in the Boulder Boulder. Have to be at CU Stadium to pick her up. Talk about a mad house!

my wife and I had a date night. Glad daughters 13 and can babysit my son. Dinner and terminator the movie. Not bad. I set the dvr to tape the race but like wise found out it was cancelled. I figured that would happen before we left. I am a huge Dale fan, picked up following his son once he died. I'll send you a picture of me working in the garage, not hard to see who I follow. I love fishing, enjoyable and relaxing until one actually takes my bait....which isn't often. Only went to 1 nascar event.Kansas 400, I perfer drag racing, more to see. I did the richard Petty driving school at Orlando. 122mph very neat. I want to try it at Talledaga...if I find a spare 2k lying around!

Well I went fishing and did not get back till late. Wanted to watch the last half of the Coca Cola 600 and found out it got rained out....good news is I get to watch it all tomorrow. Big Jr. fan here and my boy and I usually go to at least one race a year. I am a persistant little bastard and keep asking questions till someone wears down and gives them to me....lol

I had to laugh went to a graduation party yesterday and I was a hit among the men once my wife told them what I had coming. It was like we were all 17 again. You watching any of the races today?

Yes we went out to Rolla the UP yard that recieves cars. Talked to the Up gate guy and he was a huge help. My car is still on railcar and not yet in yard for unloading. Its on a side track waiting for ramp to clear. However, he told me that Translogic the company that is hired to deliver GM cars was going out of business last night. It just figures. But he told me who to contact for a dealer pick up. I called UP today and what a great help they were. The tracked my car, gave me railcar number, told me when it was unloading and who to call for dealer pick up. Now I have to coordinate it thru the dealer. I called and left a message for my salesman about 2 Pm but never got a call back. So now have to scramble on Tuesday to get them to get paperwork together to get it picked up. I had a crew working today as well. I went out there this morning to make sure everything was good and everthing looked fine. I will go over tomorrow and make sure they have everything they need.

so when I last heard from you you had set out to hunt down a transporter, Back east we call them car carriers. Did you hunt it down? What rail yard are you refering too when you said it's at the railyard? Working for a few hours every day this weekend. Huge painting job contractors are doing and of course it's my butt if they aren't finished by Tuesday! I'm hoping to work on my mustang and finish it. I read the good guys car show is at the Ranch in 2 weeks. I want to have it ready for sale so I can put it in the lot. I don't know if you ever went to a good guys car show but they are awsome. Thousands of cars. I spent 6 hrs there last year with the wife and probably could have spent another 4 hrs easy. Have a nice weekend. Hope it's spent washing your car!
