Fantastic job in Utah, I knew it would be inevitable that you guys would wow everyone with a first place finish, and a 2nd place finish as well in the same race is Awesome. Keep it up!!!
Congrats to Stevenson Motorsports for the most exciting race yet, on 9/11 at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah, when the #57 & #97 Camaros finished 1-2!!!...it doesn't get much better than that, does it?!
We are allowed to run a single adjustable coil over. They are Koni pieces as koni was the sponsor of the series last year and that is when the cars were built.
The tire we run is the spec tire mandated by the series. We would love to run something different, but not allowed.
Thanks for the support. The Continental series is growing more and more. Mainly due to the fact that the cars are so close to stock. That is why the Mustangs run in this series and not the Rolex. Ford refuses to run a tube chassis car that has become the norm in the rolex series.
Nice job to you and your team! The Continental at Watkin's Glen was a great race! Glad that Porsche blew a tire and got the #9 to 4th. Too bad the #6 had a rough race. It just aired today on Speed. Wish this forum paid more attention to the Continental series.. It's the only real racing for 'factory' cars. Questions, do you guys use coil overs or are you restricted to stock type struts and coils for the Continental? Also, are you restricted to 275 x 18 tires? Man, the Camaro could handle so much more...
The parts that mount to the caliper and rotor are still alum. The air intakes in the front are fiberglass. Adrian is thinking of the very first set that were on the 6 car. They were a prototype piece as it was the first one built.
I will try to keep you up to date on what is going on with the front air intakes you mentioned.
Great to see you at the race at Watkins Glen. I hope your getting some much needed R&R till Mid-Ohio. I'm still interested in possibly purchasing some performance parts off you guys. More specifically coming up with the design for street car front brake venting while utilizing the fog light deletes on my LS. Let me know what the going rate is on your caliper/rotor front plates. I heard there fiberglass now instead of the original steel design according to Andrea?
Wow, that would be great!
Quick question, what brand of racing wheels did you use? I will need to replicate them as well, so if they have a web page I can get their specs and detail pictures.
Thanks again,
Jim
