if you have the money it may be worth putting out more now with one in a drivable state/better condition. Less chance of running into major problems.. main thing i look for is rust, if there's a lot of rust on the body it could be corroded and tearing away a lot of the car, which equals $$$ in body work. Really look at it and see if its straight and go under and check the frame. I am not sure if that car would have a car fax or not lol if it does see if its been in an accident. plus a good paint job is gonna run you a few $k, i just painted this guys BMW front grill and that was 200 just for the supplies and paint to do it.

i just went and looked at the pics, its gonna take some money for that lol if u have it then by all means make it a project, i know i would want to. just try not to get into a lot of debt at a young age lol.. i went to look at a 69 camaro the other day it was in better shape than the vette but still not in good condition at all asking 9,800.. i knew it would end up being a money pit.. ive helped people restore some cars before and the biggest problems are the hidden problems which is big money
