Always good to hear success stories so thanks for the inspiration.

really the diet is about controlling insulin, keep the insulin low and the body doesn't want to store excess as fat. it also keeps your energy at an even keel. and hunger is little or not at all. there are a lot of advantages, but you need a lot of discipline. honestly when I started I had no idea that I could have the discipline I have had. surprised myself. have had a lot of opportunity to cheat but don't have the urge to.

my new years resolution is to retire this year.

Congrats on the weight loss! That’s some great progress!

My New Years resolution is more of a goal. It is to get my Camaro cammed. I’m thinking BTR stage 3 NA cam but I’m not completely 100% definite yet.

too poor to get a cam, will need the extra money to pay for a new wardrobe and heating oil the way things are going this winter.

down 69 lbs now

80 lbs down

got a feeling the camaro is gonna feel a little faster this spring, should be 100 lbs lighter at the very least :)

down 86

Congratulations on the weight loss. Sounds like you found something that really works for you.

My resolution is to gain some weight back. I've always been slim, 6' 2" around 175 lbs (guess it's DNA), but lost 15 lbs down to 160 last summer after appendix burst and emergency surgery. Clothes just hang loose on me now. But life is good.

never been skinny but was somewhat close in my early 20's. just hoping to get down to the low 220's, and more if I can. maybe some day I might be able to fit in one of those new ZL1's....lol

Down 91 lbs as of last Sunday, rolled the cover up on the SS tonight to start it one last time til I take out of storage in 3 or 4 weeks. remote started it the previous two months, this is the first time I sat in the drivers seat in just over 3 months, I fell in to the drivers seat, thing was way back, evidently I have lost a lot of fat in the middle, had to move the seat 6-8 inches closer, wow!! still can't believe it :)

Congrats! 91 lbs is no easy weight loss.
I think your next big challenge will be finding the weight you can be comfortable with. And hovering around that number.

93 now

won't bore you with the details unless you really want to know. but yes, significant changes but it isn't as bad as some think. following a Ketogenic or Keto diet, doing intermittent fasting and extended fasts. not sure most people would be up for it but it works great thus far and hardly ever hungry and have ample energy!

been on Keto right a year now, its more of a lifestyle now than a diet...

very true, down 96 now, 100 in sight :) can't bring myself to go back to eating the old way. can't do the carb sugar insulin roller coaster thing anymore. feel way better the last 4-5 months.
