Whats amazing is that even though its not his problem, he is here to help solve issues. That speaks volumes of who I will do business with in the future..

Lots of people have... the thread title is mis-leading. More about poor vendor support.

...or good vendor support now that it's posted here.

Great example of who wants you as a customer vs. who just wants your money.

I went with Bo for both my cars straight out of the gate and no issues with either of them, L99/LS3 or LSA (which also fits 5.3 truck engine). Very pleased.

sycraft, Did you ever get the TB fixed and if so what was the problem?

sycraft 01-21-2016 03:05 PM

Yes i did.. bo white fixed it.. throttle blade was bot correct and there was an electrical connection loose. Bo is the man. Sold it to a guy who loves it. Bought a new one and sent it to bo

I've got a Powder Pro ported TB and love it.

I'm disappointed to hear you had a bad experience with VMAX. We've been offering them for 6+ years now and I we have had very few issues. We stand behind the products we sell and if something (Including a VMAX) is purchased through us we will help to find a resolution.

Kind regards,

I am curious if you ordered it from Vmax direct or which dealer you went through. I know most manufacturers will direct you to the purchasing dealer to handle an issue. Mind sharing who it was bought through?

Curious since I will be getting a Vmax for my 16 SS and want to deal with someone reputable as JDP mentioned.

Thanks

I do not want to put them in the middle, they tried to get VMAX to step up as well and were denied. The shop is very reputable. My prior VMAX was great, just not the last one.

I have the same issue with one of yours. lags upon initial acceleration, then ramps up quickly. also have a bit of a rough idle.
