Simple, have extras for those that will not be staying at the host hotel at the check-in desk ;)

This suggestion is no surprise, but want to bring it back to the forefront. Some kind of deal struck with Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a C5 visit would be nice.

That won't be an issue this year. We have more than enough rooms for everyone to stay at the host hotel :headbang:

I agree, but last year someone had a shifter stolen out of their car (wasn't installed) and their car was keyed.

Geeze...I didn't hear about this. Not specifically, anyways. Did this happen in the host hotel parking lot? The track?

Yea no point of spending $$$ on a hotel room when my house is less than 3 miles from the track :)

Yes it happened at the host hotel in the parking lot....cost me 1400 to get repaired.

Little better rules for autocross. I was understanding that if you didnt work the track you didnt run. I worked the morning and most people never worked at all.

They had more volunteers than they had spots to work. I volunteered (and I know a few others who did) and they said they already had enough people.

But folks had to stay out there too long in the heat. I think more people would be willing to work for a shorter period of time. I know I don't want to devote an entire day to the Autocross track when there is so much you want to do. Even half a day is a lot between driving & working. Maybe having shifts like drive an hours & work an hour, in smaller groups of people/cars; then it would not be so bad. You could do as much or as little as you like. :iono:
