I can afford it and caring makes no difference, price will be what it is. at least I have a V6 and I have the option to go lower grade if I chose to. though I doubt I will

$4.15 for 87 octane here in Santa Rosa, CA. :emoticon17:

camarolvr11 04-06-2011 08:55 AM

Here in Chicago (well I should say southwest suburbs), $4.05 for 87 octane :(

My hopes of buying a camaro in the summer or looking grim because of the gas prices :(

thats just my gas not my wifes bill. between the 2 of us we burned through 700 bucks, none of which is written off or paid for. just going to and from work and normal living stuff.

Wow that's a lot. I added up my gas and I burned through $235.00 last month for gas and that was after I switched from premium to midgrade.

There is an answer, NEXT YEAR GO VOTE FOR SOMEONE THAT WILL ALLOW DRILLING!!!. Anyone old enough to remember the Carter years know's that it is 1979 all over again with a different cast of the same characters.

$3.95 for premium here in DFW yesterday, and that is in a relatively cheap part of town. I'm sure it is already over $4 in some areas here.

lets_go_bills 04-06-2011 09:50 AM

$4.95/gallon for 87 where I live. Beat that.

stevea 04-06-2011 09:54 AM

$3.83 a gallon for 93 in Eastern North Carolina

evh5150vanhalen 04-06-2011 09:54 AM

It's $1.40 a litre here for 91 octane, 3.78 litres in a US gallon. Thats $5.29 a gallon here. But if you live in the U.K for example it's $2 CAD a litre. Thats $7.56 a gallon. and you guys complain about $3.50-$4.00 a gallon, count yourselves lucky compared to the rest of the world.

Gas prices are all over the map these days around here. I see some stations selling for 3.799 and others selling for 4.099 for 87 octane within miles of one another.

The average person in the US has to drive considerably farther on a regular basis (to work etc) than most of the world. I know we have relatively cheap fuel here but we also use it up much quicker than most.
