At first the flash drive looks like it does a whole lot more, but you are required to have a separate reading device for it, and doesn't require batteries or charging time.

...and this is where units like the Sansa E140 I posted earlier come in. They're not much more expensive than a flash drive, they can play stuff on their own, they can act as a flash drive, they can even support additional flash media (The Sansa E140 has 1gb and can accept SD cards). iPod's big advantage is market acceptance of the iPod and of ITMS.

No Its just that, I am pretty sure that scott is tired of the SCOTT says stuff as well.

yes he loves dropping hints on websites like this, but when he does say something of importance, it seems like its been through the web & no one is going to care.

now there are a few threads started after the shunt thread about the information that may or may not be on that thread.

wow-> usb port standard? who would have ever guessed that would be a selling point to a car? wonder what is going to be standard for a new car in like 10 years? (flux capacitor)

+1 on the manual windows i think. the power windows on my 99 camaro i had (may she rest in peace) both went bad and the windows on the 97 acura i drive now are starting to go bad. id rather just deal with the manual crank myself. power locks are a good thing tho IMO ill need those.

Muscle car wise:

Mustang with the Sync Multimedia System with GPS Navigation has it

and the Challenger with the MYGIG Multimedia System with or with out GPS Navigation has it

GM needs their version

Just so you don't scratch the paint around the doorlock at night!

I think that a USB port is a great idea! I'd just have to plug in a USB memory and I'd be good to go. Way easier then plugging a MP3 player, that I don't have. Well I have one in my phone but it's not fantastic quality and memory size.

that will be more costly to have two diff sets of doors made & teh extra hardwere made to go in the door for Manual stuff.

Plus the manual door stuff is heavier so it will make the car heavier as well.
