What insurance companies do you guys have?! Mine is $386 and just dropped to $369/mo. This has been the cheapest rate for me yet. No tickets, accidents, etc. My Jetta alone was 212/mo. Without two cars it goes to $495/mo

I was the same. I took drivers ed. No accidents or tickets. And I get a student discount cause of my GPA.

I think your insurance may be higher than you think. Im assuming since its part of a family multi car, probably home and boat insurance or something of that nature, that brings the price down.

Holy ferk. That's what I was gonna be paying before I started shopping around.

I had Quincy Mutual. I have Liberty Mutual now, with a group UM Alumni discount. I'm the only person on the plan and only vehicle. They wanted $3400 (Quincy) but Liberty gave me a premium of $940.

So around $143 a month for me at the moment. No drivers ed. No safety courses. No experienced operator 6 year discount (that happens in a couple months and will bring me to $69 a month). I have like every discount, good student, auto payment, LoJack (max anti theft discount), etc..

But I also built my insurance plan for high deductibles and medium-low coverage. Once I get the experienced operator discount I'm going to go with platinum coverage for around the same price I'm paying now.

Good luck.

Shop around, seriously. Don't think you owe a company your business.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, it's been a while since I stopped by and thought I'd say hi.
