Better not get a Sprint Booster on that thing, could end really bad.

Seriously, though. Is this going to be driveable on the street? I only have 470rwhp. and my tires spin if I press the accellerator more than 1/2".

Im thinking it will be similar to this.......

Well, I thought we'd be going over the dyno runs right now, but the engine hasn't made it there yet. So I am going to be quiet about the runs until it is done. Everytime we bring it up, it's like a jinx...

Just got off the phone with Tom Nelson. Seems they are going a little crazy with the fuel system mounts and lines on the engine side.. But they are now finished with what was taking a lot of time so you can watch this while you wait: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDHX9...layer_embedded

...so it really should be hitting the dyno very shortly just no date predications anymore - it makes my head hurt ! :bonk:

Ha, ha... You are SO hooked on power :D

Well if you take Code Red and add another level of power hopefully that is what we get out of the SST. Guess we gotta wait until next week for the answer. :(

I heard your wife called Nelson... told him, "Drag it out till Christmas, he spent so much money on this, his stocking is dry for the next 20 years!"

Michelangelo to the pope regarding the sistene Chapel... "You want it done when? :sm0:"

Speedster - after watching the video on code red and knowing what your parameters are, The SST is going to be incredible once it's all together!

Looking forward to the dyno #'s whenever you get them. It'll be worth the wait..no matter how long it takes to get them.

Mr Twisty 11-18-2010 08:37 PM

If truly amazing cars were cheap, fast and way above par workmanship, we'd all have one and they wouldn't be truly amazing anymore.

It's gonna be worth the wait :headbang:

Bruce - its been awhile. I have been anxiously awaiting my car for months now myself as you know and it is finally getting close to completion, at least this part of the build. LOL Looks like the SST is almost there as well and cant wait to see this beauty in person. I am not sure exactly what you have installed for safety features but I saw this and thought of you and something that might interest you. Enjoy.
