Hi All,
NOOB to the forum from RI. I've had a couple of new Camaros in the past though. Had a new baseline '86 from Dan Angelone in Warren and the a new '88 RS from Liberty in Swansea. I was seriously looking at the new Challenger but I have to say that the new Camaro really has my interest.

Paul's right! Get some time behind the wheel... You'll be hard pressed to go anywhere else! Let us know where you live (I'm in Portsmouth) and maybe when the weather permits you can hitch a ride with one of us. I know it takes no excuse at all to get ME out for a joy ride! I had an out-of-town visitor out last week in fact when it was like 15deg out! I can tell you for a fact those summer tires do NOT like that kind of weather! :-)

Hi, new to the site, just found this. Picked up my car on Wednesday, love it. Maybe someone here can help me. I have several little specs in my paint, all over the car. They are like if you were to paint a car in a autobody shop you get the little lint specs. Not a big deal but I would figure from the factory things to be perfect. Thanks

Point that out to your dealer, my paint is nice and smooth.

Congrats on the 2SS and welcome to the site. And don't be shy about posting photo's.

Who was your dealer?

Congrats, did you buy your Camaro at Balise, I know they had a Silver Ice SSRS with the Black Hockey Stripe package, really nice looking Camaro.

Thanks, no I did a search with the color, options that I wanted and the only one in the area was Clay Chevy on Rt1 Norwood. Excellent dealership. Ill get some photos soon.

Silver Ice 01-08-2010 03:46 PM

Guys, how are the stripes when you wax the car. Does it make a discoloration on it?

Silver Ice 01-08-2010 03:49 PM

The only thing that I didnt like was they put the front license plate on all the cars. I wouldnt have put it on

Oh no! I assume the brackett was already on the first time you saw the car?

Silver Ice 01-08-2010 06:46 PM

Yes it was. I think that it is screwed right into the bumper. Poor design. I just ordered vanity plates so maybe it will look better. LOL

Sterling 01-08-2010 06:55 PM

Congrats on your purchase...

PAUL SS 01-08-2010 08:15 PM

I think it may be riveted. Vanity plates will help, what are you getting?

Silver Ice 01-08-2010 08:34 PM

Thank you Sterlingnotes. I ordered SS-RS

PAUL SS 01-08-2010 08:45 PM
