So it was such a nice week I decided to wash and shine my daily driver and share a few picks. I have a 2013 RS 1LT and I have a very subtle Punisher theme on the car. (why Punisher? because everyone else was doing Transformers and I wanted something different)

The front has bowtie delete and Punisher etched headlights with Punisher grill emblem.

The wheels have Punisher center cap and air valve.

The rear I have added Louvers and the taillights have a ghosting Punisher effect when the lights or brake is applied. The interior has a Punisher emblem on the steering wheel replacing the bowtie and the door speaker grills have Punisher on them as well even tho not shown.

I plan on adding black chrome gills this week to tie in the louvers and they give the effect of a shadow at the gill area.

Let me know what you all think! good or bad.

Very nice, I like it when people make it their own.

It's not a popular year, but a beauty nonetheless.

Is the PNW Still Alive?

It's been a long while since this section has seen activity. How is everyone? What have you been doing? What's new with your Camaro?

:rolling5thgen:

Yes, last regular activity was discussing Portland C&C.
I honestly forgot about this PNW section. Haha!

The wife and I have been doing more traveling this year (Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Ireland) which means less funds for the 1LE.
Ordered some Raybestos ST-43s for the coming track season. They are on "indefinite back order"...
Might have to find another comparable brand to go with instead.

That's about it unfortunately!

Sadly, World of Speed has permanently closed.

I'm experiencing the supply chain issues too. I'm shopping for furniture and most of the pieces that I want have an ETA of 2023! :mad0259:

Yes, no more World of Speed which sucks.
However, they moved the event to Langers Entertainment in Sherwood.
It's a much larger spot with room for over 300 cars.

https://portlandcarsandcoffee.com/location/

They go year round, but the official season starts on May 15th.

Douglas Speedway said they're working on putting together an event that would allow street cars on the track. It would be timed and there may be a prize for the fastest.

I have heard of that place.
I used to run in autoX events that were hosted by Emerald Empire Sports Car Club (EESCC) down in the Eugene area.
They were saying that they were gong to run some events there this year.

It's a bit far for me being up in Portland, so I stick to track days at PIR.
