Looks like a lot of fun!
Anyone consider having a Eureka Springs Camaro Weekend like they do for corvettes - that's usually several hundred (600 to 800) vettes. I think you could spark a lot of interest from surrounding states for this. I have done this w/ my vette for years and it is always one of the most enjoyed shows of the year. We might even start with just Arkansas Camaro's and grow from there. |
Im up for that, maybe next year will have enough people to have an Arkansas Camaro's state wide meet somewhere.:headbang:

Jasper Run 11-13-10
6 Attachment(s)
The Jasper Run was awesome. It was pretty much a 75 mile race with those Corvettes out front. This was the first real test I've had with the Camaro and it handled great as expected. One interesting thing happened, I was running down the blue mustang in the pic and was about to pass him when he blew his motor. Smoke started pouring out his left exhaust. I did stop briefly to make sure he was ok and it didn’t take me long to catch back up and pass the cars that had passed me. Anyway here are a few pics of the trip. I want to thank the Ozark Cafe in jasper for having us and we will definitely be back next year.

Members and guest, we will have our monthly meeting Monday night at 6:30 at Dinks Bar-B-Que in Bentonville on rainbow curve. Hopefully we get done before the football game, GO SEC.
|
Tonights’ meeting is postponed due to weather, its freaking snowing. Meeting rescheduled for Jan. 24 @ 6:30, be there.
|
Anyone else ready for this weather to be nice, clear, and dry for change? Im itching to take my baby out for a drive
|
I know I just got back in town from getting married..........woooohooo and what do I find still snow on the ground. Car has been in the garage for 3 weeks straight but it looks like this will be the week it ends, sunny and 60’s all week. I might have to risk the left over sand on the roads for a week end cruise.
|
reminder: camaro meeting this month is on the 28th be there if you can, as always Dinks Bar-b-que at 6:30.

The first stop was at Wiederkehr the biggest winery in Arkansas. The tour was cool, food was good and the wine was awesome.....thanks Wiederkehr. The second stop was at Post winery were we also did the tour and wine tasting. The cruise was a blast and weather was perfect and no we did not drink and drive.....

Here are some pictures from the Neosho Car Show. The show turned out great and we raised a lot of money and supplies for the Joplin tornado victims. 6 Camaros from the club went up and 5 got trophies. It would have been 6 but someone didn’t enter.....this was my first car show and I was blown away when they called my name for a 3rd place trophy (no categories total point system) and the best thing is my wife is now on board for more mods!!!
|
Woohoo, I like this! ;)
|
Thanks Ark5thGenGirl
Anyone up for Mo-Kan this weekend, give me a shout. FYI, this months meeting has moved locations. Meeting will be at Beef O' Brady's on hwy 102 in Bentonville, Monday 7/25 at 6:30 (in the private room). |

Show was a blast it was hosted by the NWA Mustang Club and proceeds went toward the NWA Women's Shelter. 6 Camaros took trophies including the big one BEST IN SHOW!!! It rained that morning but turned out to be a perfect day in the Ozarks.

Slamily Reunion 8-6-11
10 Attachment(s)
The NWA Camaro Club crashes the Slamily Reunion........with over 300 entries and only about 20 muscle cars you could say we crashed the party. All in all it was a blast and the 100 degree temps were no match for the ice cold beer. The club took home 3 trophies. And talk about some serious bank, I've never seen this much cash at a car show….some of these rides were crazy….
|
Anyone in NWA what to go to Mokan fun drags tomorrow (Nov 6). We are leaving from Bella Vista Sonic at noon headed to Joplin. Drags start at 1:00 and run till 5:00. $15.00 will get you as many runs as you would like.

This is one of the bigger car shows in southwest Missouri. There were about 150 entries and most of them were older muscle cars, probably more older muscle car then I’ve seen at one show. We had 7 camaros in the show and took home 4 trophies. The best part was the drive.....dude it was awesome, nothing like cruise the Ozarks!!!
|
Ok NWA members were going to Lake Country Chevrolet in Muskogee, OK Saturday for a meet and greet with the OK Camaro Club. Should be fun....looking forward to the drive.
