Alright, need details. I want this in my life.

All i did was cut the portion of the grille that went over the blinkers. Otherwise youd have a line from the grilling going through the swoosh

Just some cutting of the grille where the blinkers would be. Its optional, it doesnt prevent the lights from fitting.. you just get the vertical bar from the grille in front of the swoosh. so i cut mine

No joke. The housing its the same as the 5th gen lights. All you need is a harness if you have the RS package. For whatever reason it needs to go from a 3 to a 4 prong connector. But its legit plug and play. Aside from them you attach a black to black, and a white to white wire with butt connectors. Pop them on the car and bolt it back together.

These are aftermarket for 2010-2013 5th Gen. I'm not sure actual 6th gen headlights would fit.

Correct.. 6th gen lights dont fit because the 6th gen lights are slim. The aftermarket lights that look like the 6th gen use the same 5th light housing shape so that it fits on the 5th gen frame
