Wow... you get to do an upgrade already... Lucky you. Your wife doesn't even have any grounds to get upset about it!

Garret 02-21-2013 07:40 PM

dam some people, I actually trust my family to DRIVE my camaro its the parking lots they go to I dont trust.. :o

Frid 02-21-2013 07:44 PM

Ouch. :(

Mr. iNCREDIBLE 02-21-2013 07:44 PM

Told my wife she can't drive my Camaro any more after she introduced her Camry to the hedges in our driveway, and like your wife she hooked a branch and just kept backing up until she ripped the fascia off her car, $1500 in damage.

Funny thing was her reason for it, I had $35 in Christmas Lawn ornaments on the edge of the lawn on the other side of the driveway (half circle drive with lawn on one side and a row of hedges on the other side of the circle) She was trying to avoid hitting the $35 ornaments and caused $1500 in damage to the car, I would have preferred she run over the damn ornaments.

ZL1 front bumper time

stikSS 02-21-2013 07:57 PM

I don't mean to laugh cause I'd be pissed... but the OP is almost hilarious!

I'm just imagining that phone call... and not knocking women... but that's typical woman driving... course don't stop and get out and look... better yet just back up or drive on over and finish tearing all the rest of the shit off!

I let the Mrs. drive mine too. She knows full well I'd use any thing that was done while she drove it as an excuse to mod it...:bellyroll:

SHE CAN'T DRIVE A STICK!:happyanim:

Mick1 02-21-2013 08:07 PM

that's why the car reviewers say the camaro has many blind spots, esp for someone who drives it for the very first time :)

upflying 02-21-2013 08:09 PM

Sounds like you will get lucky tonight.

Bad@ssCamaro 02-21-2013 08:16 PM

What did you do to piss her off?

Tampa Tuning 02-21-2013 08:17 PM

When I first got my car, I let my wife drive it in a huge school parking lot on a Sunday morning to get used to a manual shift. She drove it for about an hour and said she that was fun but didn't want to drive the car again because she didn't want to hear me if she scratched it.

I said okay, and ordered all the bolt ons and a heads and cam package.

I thought you were the mrs.:iono:

Darth_Emma 02-21-2013 08:48 PM

Give her a hug and tell her it will be ok. That's what insurance is for. I'm sure she feels badly.

That new ZL1 facia will look great. :)

MBS 02-21-2013 08:55 PM

Well at least the rear end is alright!

Mick1 02-21-2013 09:16 PM

the insurance company is not going to believe that your wife did it :)

Fiveg56 02-21-2013 09:17 PM

Don't be too hard on her. It's just a car.

Like a what?

It's just a car. Cars can be fixed and replaced.

Renegade 02-21-2013 09:41 PM

Are you even happy she's alive and well? :iono: Material things can be replaced but, not your wife.

motorhead 02-21-2013 09:41 PM

Don't be mad at wifey. Be mad at yourself.

Also, I feel bad for you guys that have wifes that don't know how to drive sticks. My wife is very good at driving the stick. Manual transmissions on the other hand is a completely different story. Lol
