thats the stock spoiler painted in a satin black. regular ss spoiler there.

I agree it looks like the stock spoiler. Maybe its just the way it is attached. It is actually sitting on top the deck lid. Look at the picture of the yellow concept, the picture that is shot from the back end. The production spoiler does not sit "on top of" the deck lid. That might be why it looks "thicker" or "wider" then the stock spoiler. The spoiler on the black car looks alot like the third spoiler in the picture of all the autographed spoilers from Indy. The one that some thought was the blade spoiler. Sorry, I dont know how to post pictures so I can't do a very good job of illustrating my point.

no it is not the black coated. the black coated is musch darker than this. the small side bars that look like a "v" are the black coated paint. the main 5 bars are not the same color. but they arent as bright as the polished. look at these pictures and after looking at them tell me what you think it has. it doesnt look like the same polished wheel as the yellow

I was reading about the Camaro Black on Autoblog and liked this comment:

We didn't expect GM to put the 6-cylinder in it, but based on the sound it made rolling by, it's not a problem.
There's hope that the v6 is not going to sound like the 4th gen V6.

Thank you playhard67. That is the one I am thinking of, the one on the back row. Can JohnnyCamaro tell us what that is and if we are going to be able to get it. Sure looks like the one that is on this black camaro to me!

Are you kidding me? It looks amazing. Better on the black than on the red.

I think the lighting presents some of the problems - I agree - I am not sure that the main 5 bars are coated, but the bottom picture (that has the car at an angle) makes the rims look pretty much all coated. If you use a flash straight on those rims, it might do some wierd things visually to the main 5 bars even if they are coated as the "V"s are behind it. The screen shot was pulled from the GMPP website as the SEMA show cars performance add-ons, so I would think they would use the wheel that is on that website, but I don't know for sure

so what do you think it is? Polished ? It looks like they put some kind of darker clear on top of the whole wheel.i highly doubt it it the black wheels.

GTAHVIT 11-06-2008 09:26 AM

I'm betting they've just had those wheels chromed with a darker tint. I'm not sure what that proces is.

I've been tryin so hard to like these wheels. They almost had me with this black car...

But, I just don't like em. :iono:

eltati 11-06-2008 09:46 AM

Yea!!!! This is what I want. Except for the red HID ligths and I would definitely like a diferent axaust that dosen't look like a honda civic (The concept exaust was awesome, if you listen GM) and ofcourse that the ground effects look better the same color of the car.

Thanks anyway for showing us this beautiful cars
