just do the camaro builder and ad in the ground effects with the v6 rs package and the 21' wheels. theres your price.

I am thinking about ordering the Camaro SS in a black the only thing I am woried about is the sound system upgrade. Is it worth the subwoofers in the trunk and the loss of space. Please comment back. Thanks

depends what you plan on putting in the trunk?
i dont plan on using mine for grocery shopping so i would concider getting it. it looks as if it hides away in the back of the trunk pretty good. i dont see it getting in the way of anything.

it is not the SS. it is a v6 with the rs appearance package and the ground effects kit. i dont know what the emblem says but it is a v6 motor. even on gmpp web sight it clearly shows that it is a v6 model.

The Boston Acoustic system in the 2SS does not have a subwoofer. You can add the subwoofer as an option and yes...since it is two 10" subwoofers it will take up a nice chunk of space and add some weight (i'm guessing it will be a plastic molded speaker box and relatively light amp/speakers so maybe 30-40 lbs extra).

Personally...I'm sticking with the Boston Acoustic system and if I require more bass I will put my own subwoofer system in that will take up less space and likely sound much better.

its not boston accoustics. the dealer installed subs are mtx. that is what these are. boston accoustics are the speakers inside the cabin.

and how about the hood and spoiler...looks like brushed aluminum...is it?

the exhaust pipes look better in person than in the rendering

actually if you look at the wheels from a direct on shot, they are the brushed aluminum but they seem to have a translucent black clear coat over them so when you see them from a different angle they are black. compare the pics. you can tell the back parts and the sides of the spokes are darker than the front. which indicates they are from the polished rims.
