Almost got caught in the rain!!!!

went out for a drive, myself and my wife for supper....looked a little cloudy...I said, " ah who cares, if she gets dirty she get dirty...."
And then on the way home it started to peck rain....all of a sudden I started to panic...and I floored her all the way home and into the bat cave! lol safe and sound...still haven't seen the rain.... whooo
I have realized that I have a problem....I just hate to see my car dirty, have any of you felt like this? My wife thinks I'm crazy!

:)

cheers

...if it doesn't get dirty, then you don't get to have fun washing it...

It's the grime underneath that bugs me after driving in the rain. The body can be washed easily, the suspension and undercarriage not so much.

Go for it men, avoid rain as much as you can.

Daily driver, yep, I'm the idiot who got one for that. But I wash it just about every week, and I kind of enjoy that time.

Mine will see the rain, just not the snow and ice. I washed my car on Tuesday, I drove it to work for the second time ever, because the weatherman said it was going to be warm and sunny all day. Two birds crapped on it and then it rained for about 10 minutes which knocked little leaves and berries all over it. Then the sun came out and baked all that crap all over the car and left pollen and water spots everywher. It looked like it had never been washed before! Needless to say, I ran home and scrubbed it back up. OP, I feel your pain! :happy0180:

Got my car in September '12, its been in the rain once. It was a light rain that had only just started before I got the car into the garage. I'm trying to get over this (can I call it obsessive behavior?). Any suggestions? I was thinking of taking the car out on the freeway in the middle of a heavy rain storm and forcing myself to drive it. Is this the type thing that might bring on a panic attack? LOL

Can't say I haven't done it before because I have. I usually don't take out the Camaro when it looks like its going to rain but if I get caught in it I'm not going to freak out unless it hails then I would have a fit
