Yes you are correct. When I was at the plant with a few other Camaro5 members, an employee pulled up close to an IOM camaro and it was very obvious that the two colors were different. The IOM is waaaaaaaaaaaay nicer. It's really amazing! I'd consider it as well but I already have an orange camaro.

DAMN... i can't wait to see this color....

Kenz Camaro 04-09-2009 01:41 PM

You can find it on a Pontiac Solstice or a Chevy Colorado.
It is VERY nice.

I know the chevy website says the colorado is the same paint, but I have seen the paint chips at the auto show and they are different. I think there is a tint coat they are putting extra on the camaro. I could be totally wrong, but the paint for the camaro appeared brighter, less red in it than the solstice, avalanche, colorado, hhr, vette,.

I was wondering about that, I have yet to see it in person on a Camaro. It's a premium color now, increased price.

Ya this is my biggest concern - if it is like the solstice, avalanche, colorado i think it is too brownish - I want an ORANGEGASM !! All the pictures you see indicate a pretty good orange but the paint chip i got from my dealer isn't very orange.

Hey I'm also looking for a thread on what kind of financing will be offered by GMAC or any other financial institution and if there will be any promos offered by GM. My gut tells me that there probably won't be any promos but has anyone heard of interest rates that GMAC might have on this SaWEET machine?

Also didn't i hear that the Obama administration was going to give a $3000.00 tax credit on a new car purchased this year?

Anyone know anything on this? Thanks

I saw the IOM Camaro at the NY Auto show and it looks identical to the IOM Avalanche I saw the day before.

Both look great and it's making my color selection near impossible.

BTW Por 15 sells a Chevy Orange engine enamel.
