BLIZZARD
My LS is safely tucked away in the driveway, as we will be getting 22-30" of snow.
A storm of historic proportions. Got to drive it last Friday while the roads were clean. How about you guys? |
You can blame me for the storm...
Gave mine a wash yesterday. Didn't know about the blizzard at the time... (I drive year round if no snow/wet salt). |
Drove to work this morning in the camaro... didnt know about the storm. After getting 1/2" of snow by lunchtime I took her home and put her in the garage. Brought the Subaru (snow-eater) back to work for the afternoon.

i'm in an area that's prone to power outages, so i'm as prepared as i can be. got my generator filled up, and 21 gallons of gas in cans ready to go. gonna sit back and watch it pile up. my camaro is safely under a cover in the garage.

Did a short review on driving in the snow Saturday with my car (Camaro in Snow in general forum) was pleased with how it went.
Tomorrow is going to be very bad, take care all and remember to take breaks when shoveling. |
Generator is filled up with 5 gallons of gas, ATV with plow is filled with 5 gallons of gas, four 5 gal gas cans are full, truck is full, Camaro is full and Traverse is full. If we lose power, I should be good for a while.

I'll be working this one in Charlestown for the "T". They have me booked till thur morning. Check on family when you can and when it's safe.

I have a cool Generac generator fed by the natural gas line, 15 seconds power loss, the whole house is lit up by it. Good buy!

Staying put for the next 36 hours here in the Merrimack Valley. Predictions are 2'-3' by Wednesday morning. The pics should be spectacular. Stay tuned.
We haven't had a 30"+ storm here in quite a while. My LS did really well during Saturday's storm. I got to drive it around a bit in 5" of snow. Up and down hills in the area around other cars that were stuck and spinning. Can't say enough about how this car handles the white stuff. Having said that, she's not moving until Wednesday :) -Dennis- |
