Top rattle
 

I have a rattle that sound like it is coming from right above me right where the bow is almost as if when I hit a bump there is something there hitting against the bow. Any idea what it could be or how to fix it.

The piece that attaches to the wind shield frame has some Torx bolts. Make sure they are tight.

I recently picked up a bad rattle on the passenger side right where the two passenger side windows meet the top. As I drive and hit the small bumps in the road, there is a loud rattle. If I roll down the windows a bit, it stops.

Any thoughts/experiences? I haven't had time to look at it just yet up close just yet....putting the top half way down to see if something is loose under the headliner.

Of course, this is one of many smaller rattles/squeaks...but this is new and much louder than others.

Pisses me off.....when I first bought this car, the top was super quiet.

So far, the rattles/squeaks are the only issues with my top (knock on wood). Bought the car in 4/11.

I had that and the plastic panel that surrounds the lock down handle had broken on the passengers side, take your hand when the top is up and hit it gently all along its length, if it's broken it will definitely rattle.

Thats not necessary for me I've already talked with the local dealership and they are gonna take a look at it when i take it in for a different issue but thank you

No rattles going on three years !!!!

They finally found the rattle in the trunk. :rolleyes:

I have a terrible rattle. It seems to only happen when I hit a bump that causes a horizontal vibration. I have had it at the trim shop 3 times...replaced the 4th bow and added some weather stripping. Thought it was fixed, but no. Never had a rattle until the fabric was replaced and now it is driving me crazy. Any suggestions? Of course it is a 2011.

Well I figured out what it was I took it to the local dealership where they lubed the rubber stoppers which didn't fix it and today I was putting the top down and I believe my 5th bow just broke.
