Modded Demon vs Modded SS Camaro
I was at the local drag strip last weekend and a couple Demons showed up. Both had similar mods to my Camaro. e85, meth, headers, cam, tune.
We did some time slip races. I ran 6.29, Demon #1 ran 6.33 and Demon #2 ran 6.19 until he turned on the bottle and ran 5.96. Really nice guys, each of us admired what was done to the cars. Kinda makes me want to go with a 150 shot and see if I can get in the 5s too. Definitely going with the MT ET Street R 315/50x17 like they had, more tire than my 305/45x17. |
What mph?

I'm sorry, I have never cared about trap speed in 40 years of racing. Should I? |
You ran 6.29 in the 1/8 with just bolt ons? 1.36 60Ft with 17's?

2013 SS, I am disappointed in the lack of trust.

And you’re just bolt ons??? I have friends with 700+ horsepower doing close to what you’re doing. When I was making high 500’s I was BARELY getting into the 6’s. I think that’s probably why people are skeptical
Edit: is that XRP in Ferris?? |

Yes, Xtreme in Ferris. |
If you noticed from my OP, it clearly states similar mods to my car. Demons are FI, assumption would be I am too.

I had a feeling that’s what “bolt ons” were lol. I’m sure you may have seen me or some of my friends out there. A group of camaros including mine, a red 5th gen 1/LE, another red 5th gen SS, a Black zl1, and a yellow 6th gen are usually out there. Once I’m back in Texas with the car I’ll be out there, I’ll keep an eye out for you

I figured when you said meth there was some forced induction involved |
I left as soon as the sun went down, track turned to ice. I didn't see any other Camaros last Sunday.
I'm hoping to not be in this area much longer, hence my name. Do you know anybody looking for a nice house in Flower Mound? Mine is on the market. |
