Car has slight stumble at idle?

I have noticed that my car has a slight stumble at idle. I heard from someone that they noticed the same thing. Just wondering if this is normal?:iono:

The LS3 idles around 500RPM. It's fine.

mine does it on a cold start sometimes almost like its got a massive cam lol.

1900 miles and it occasionally idles rough at a stop light. sounds mean as hell from the outside. hasn't died on my though!

Low RPM + 6.2L = Rumble in the Jungle!
As long as you don't have knock while driving your good.

Is knock very noticeable?

I asked my dealers service tech and he said it was the cam on the v8's.

The only time I feel it is when I'm sitting still, and yes, I noticed it at the first light I pulled up to after leaving the dealership.

That's not knock. GM put a pretty aggressive stock cam in the LS3 to pull 426 hp, and what you're feeling is what hot rodders commonly refer to as "camming." It's nothing to be afraid of folks, it's just another thing that makes these cars awesome.

not a stumble...just a cam lope you are feeling at idle. It is normal.

heh my brother, an old Pro Gas racer himself, commented on a "miss" in my idle. I thought it just sounded a little choppy, still sounds that way.
