I think the camshaft is to small for 550rwhp.

Seems like you got it figured out.
Let us know how it turned out.

Thought you made 564rwhp 533rwtq?

allmotor 12-25-2014 08:47 PM

That's what I was told but never saw a Dyno sheet. I had it retuned at Slowhawk and I was there for the tune this time.

wow that's good numbers ,I will be happy with that numbers, but I don't know if my heads are not enough for 530hp,.

what intake are you using,ls3 or fast, thanks

allmotor 12-27-2014 09:06 AM

For air flow I have a FAST intake with a ported Nick Williams TB and CAI. I bought the FAST and TB before I decided to stroke the motor. If you plan on installing a FAST, check around to determine if the bang for the buck is worth it. Depending on your build and what you plan to do with the extra HP, the stock intake might suit your needs. Maybe check around and compare the flow rate between a FAST (ported and not) vs. a stock LS 3 intake (ported or not). In hindsight, I wish I did.

Ok a stock ls3 no fuel upgrade yet mast heads jre rough idle blower cam fast 102 ported tb too 492.3 thru the factory cats. I am trying to justify using my 40& or building a new motor before it gets procharger

500rwhp should be no problem at all. guys are making 500rwhp with camshaft & cnc heads. We had a customer make 525rwhp with PRC 260cc heads & a 235/239 TSP camshaft on a stock bottom end!
