4B00 Bayed Question
 

Is the status of 4B00 (Bayed) strictly associated with being in the Ottawa yard awaiting loading on a TRAIN? And that this the only place your car would be Bayed?

I ask because a person with a VIN in the 600's has this status now, along with mine that is VIN 6125.

The person in the 600's is most likely bayed in Pontiac, MI awaiting "repairs". You, in the 6000's, are most likely bayed in OSHAWA simply awaiting QC clearance to ship; unless you have RPO stripes, then you might be bayed awaiting the addition of the stripes (still in Oshawa).

Thanks. I was wondering if maybe they were gonna ship our cars together, but that doesn't appear likely since they are probably at 2 different locations. I got black stripes, so mine is just waiting to be shipped. My event status guy was not available this past week, so hopefully I'll get an update Monday. My car hasn't shown up on any searches yet (UCF's, nor The shipping one).

Bayed means sitting "somewhere". It's generic.

Kind of like most of us here on the forum. We are "Bayed" waiting for our cars to show up.:laugh:

ive been at 4b00 since 5/7 also waiting on stripes only i hope

I've been 4B00 sinse March, stripes won't hold you there, my stripes have been at the dealer sinse 1st week in April, the car is hiding somewhere.

Read what I wrote. RPO stripes, not all stripes. RPO aka factory installed stripes most certainly could hold a car up.

So Bayed could also be a status after car is unloaded from train, waiting for final shipment via truck?

Thats right. it'll be bayed half a dozen times before you get it.
