Cold Air Inductions Inc. 427 LSX Supercharged Camaro Build

Well, I think it's about time we do a build thread for the Cold Air Inductions Inc. Shop Car, an Aqua Blue Metallic 2010 Camaro SS/RS. The vehicle was pre-owned, well cared for, and already had the following modifications done to it:

- Hurst Short Throw Shifter
- Foose Chrome Wheels
- Borla Atak Exhaust
- Chrome Gill Inserts
- Billet Under Hood Accessory Caps and Strut Tower Covers
- Elite Engineering Catch Can w/ Stainless Braided Lines
- Window Tint

Future plans include (this is where it gets good):

- LSX 427 Block (Internals still being decided on) :headbang:
- Ported LS3 Heads
- SLP Supercharger
- Cold Air Inductions Inc. CAI (obviously :D)
- Kooks Long Tube Headers
- MPD1 Hood, Spoiler, Front & Rear Splitter, Grille, Bumper, and Custom Paint :faint:
- Suspension
- Dyno Tuning

Here are a few pics right after it was purchased.

Aren't you just going to have to go out and 'buy' another one when you do the FI, lol. That is going to be sick when it's done though.

The car was then handed over to Eric at MPD1 for him to start working his magic. Plans included are as follows:

- MPD1 Cowl Induction Hood
- MPD1 Smoothie Rear Exhaust Panel
- MPD1 Front Spolier
- Heritage grille with custom Rick Bottom Motorsports designed Carrage Works grilles
- MPD1 Rear Spoiler
- MPD1 components painted to match along with subtle "ghost" rally stripes all painted by Eric

We will be posting pics and details of most of the process done by Eric very soon!

Eric and MPD1 can be found at www.MPD1.com

Midnight Auto Supply?
Imma gonna follow this one as it could be VERY interesting.

:offtopic:If I get any real cash from the guy that ran over me while I was pushing a shopping cart in the Walmart exit door crosswalk back in September, I could afford a Kim Barr built 427. Kim's built THOUSANDS of Chevy motors. No doubt he's built many an LS based motor, once folks realized their potential.

Kim, if you ever view this forum, cut an old Forest Lane guy a break on a big LS motor and I'll make sure the chassis is ready to handle it.:thanks:

Looks great! What hose are you running from the CAI to the engine? Like the look.

Its just stainless braided AN line with standard fittings, if I'm not mistaken those lines were already on the vehicle when we got it and we just adjusted the length and fitting to work with our CAI.
