What is PVD chrome?

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) Chrome is a three 3 step process. First a primer is applied and cured. Next the wheel enters a PVD vacuum chamber where a mixture of metals are applied onto the wheel creating a chrome finish. Finally a high quality acrylic clear powder coat is applied to protect the chrome finish.

PVD Chrome is a highly durable process which unlike traditional chrome is much more resistant to salts and chemicals applied to roads to melt snow and ice during winter driving.

Availability will be late November to mid December. Pricing will be in line with regular chrome.

Man these look sweet. I am tempeted to cancel my order on the LG wheels to just jump on these now.
Any idead on the weight of these wheels??? That would be really helpful. Thanks!!!

Is black chrome an option?

At the rate the LG wheels are going I see a good chunk of people jumping ship for these for 50% of the price too. Black chrome would look sweet, I am tempted to do PVD on my LG wheels when they arrive.

The 20x11 weighs 31 pounds. I do not have any of the other sizes to weigh at this time. As soon as I do I will post them.
