KPE Supercharger Released for the LFX

KPE Supercharger for the LFX Camaro-Released!

The moment you all have been waiting for….the KPE Supercharger for the 2012-2015 LFX Camaro is now ready for production. With Derek’s help and a few other fine folks, we now are ready to begin producing the new and improved supercharger kit.

Gone are the days of old KPE or IPF, lack of support, lack of parts, or lack of knowledge. The new KPE is here. The new system is here.

The bone stock kit with all hard piping, 31x12x3” intercooler, and Vortech V3SCi supercharger, and partnered with Overkill Motorsport tuning, is putting out 400+ RWHP, and 330ft/lbs of torque, up approximately 30hp and 30ft/lbs from the original kit.

Key improvements are the new all hard-piping, new power steering fitting and hose routing, larger, more robust idler pulleys with longer lasting bearings, a conventional blow off valve system, larger intercooler, and a quality catch can system with clean side separator.

A sound byte from Derek’s car-

Tuning is now done by Overkill Motorsports. Hand held tuner included that will allow you to datalog your car and send files over for retunes. Make changes, upgrades, gear changes, send that information over, and get a retune, for YOUR car.

Now go be that guy or girl at the track that constantly gets asked “is that a V8?”
And you can answer with:

V8 power (or more!) without the insurance costs, or fuel costs. Why not?

Any option for us stuck with the obsolete kit?

Yes! We should have pricing to release for the 2 needed upgrade kits. The first is the crankcase evacuation and catchcan system, and the next is the charge pipe and intake pipe kit. This will allow you to convert your old system to the new one with all the benefits. If you have the updated ceramic bearings in your original idler pulley's you may be fine with those, otherwise we have a new pulley set as well.

Stay tuned and we will release those as soon as were able!

And as a bonus, you should see 3-5 MPG improvement in fuel economy on the highway.

Now one more bonus, the first LLT, LFX, and LGX (2010-2011 LLT with low mileage or has had recent timing chain replaced, LFX 2012-2015, or LGX 2016-2017) to order now, we will do the installation start to finish free. Tuned, ported throttle body, and some added extra appearance mods under the hood. You just have to get the car to us and afterwards of course promote KPE at shows, meets, etc.

We want one of each done start to finish by us. PM for details! :thumb:

Respectable numbers.

I remember looking at the original kit when I had my V6.

This one sounds like a winner. Congrats. :)

It has certainly surprised a few people :-)

And will do at the track as well

Will one of the kits include an updated tuner module as well or will we still be using the IPF unit?

It will include its own tuning module that you can datalog and read your car, and flash tunes with.

Perfect, thanks again Derek.

We should have pricing available for the fully updated/upgraded kit with the larger intercooler and different BOV available today, as well as working on an upgrade kit for those with the original IPF kit!

More to be released soon!

I live in rain and water on the road country and am not comfortable with the low mounted intakes. Is there a higher mount option, even if some home brewing is required? The area where you'd normally have a CAI is full of supercharger?

Havent had an issue with water in 8 months that I have owned the kit. Use the air filter wrap, avoid going into boost in heavy water , slow down in deep puddles.
