Found someone local with a wheel and tire deal I couldn't pass up on. And of course I just had to do a quick photoshoot with the new wheels:biggrin: Already received many compliments and broke some necks:lol:

I remember when black rims became popular. In the beginning, on a white car, I thought it looked like crap. I’ve come around, as they say. But on your silver car, it’s just tits. (sorry, gals, that’s a compliment!) I’m still torn on my Crystal Red car. Looks awesome.

Car really looks awesome with either wheel.

Gotta ask... what's with the Hennessey logo?

Im not a huge fan of black wheels, but that does look great. Ties things together very well with the wing and light covers. I think if there are other accents, black wheels can tie in. I never thought Id do painted wheels on any of mine, but my SS came with white and polished wheels. Being bright red with white stripes, it ties it in well.

It's the rare Hennessey tuned v6.

No way I'd support the scam artist that is John Hennessey.

it's just an add on so my windshield wouldn't look so plain

I sometimes do get weird looks about it. Some people ask what it is. I'm guessing they think it's the alcoholic drink lol

I too was not a huge fan of black wheels. I guess it’s because matte/satin wheels are more common and they make the wheel seem kinda dull and dirty. It’s kinda overused, but I think silver is one of the few colors where you can pull off black wheels nicely.

Here’s some pics of my wheel skins (fancy hubcaps :bellyroll:). They really completed the look of all of my cosmetic mods. In a way, it kinda makes the car look lower and wider imo. They were my much cheaper alternative to getting new wheels/tires cuz I work in fast food.
