If you just mix build into a build thread, it gets kinda bland... if you mix in some LOL then it's entertaining AND educational.

If you can get hold of some OMGWTFBBQSAUCE then you have a classic build thread that will go down in C5 history books... your grandchildren will read about it in school, and artists will write songs about it :w00t:

Uh... excuse me... would everyone be ok with me posting a pic of my new front fascia???

I don't want to offend anyone since there is so much "fun" going on in here...

Maybe I should post a Poll asking if it would be ok to post a pic of something to do with my car.... :(

Looks really good. You'll like it. The approach angle is going to change for you a bit. I suggest always backing in or pulling through parking spots. The difference may not be as big to you. I went from V6 fascia with a very forgiving approach angle to this fascia. Lets just say this one has no room for error, period.

There will be no more pulling up to curbs... Pete will not get me to lower my car because of this one. But the ZL is already lower than the SS so you should be in the same ballpark now. And you're adjustable...;)

Gotchya. I couldn't pull up over curbs anyway... But I may have to be more careful on drive ways and and speed bumbs and such...

PQ 06-14-2012 04:18 PM

Also watch out ...... that downforce will rob you of some torque.... LMMFAO

wait... y'all're able to pull up to curbs? i couldn't do that stock & now with shorter tires, it's ridiculous in Eve. i can barely get in & out of my new driveway.

don't worry though, you quickly learn to spot every little dip in the pavement & viable ways around it. also the fine art of going up/down down every incline/decline at a 45* angle

Are you going with the ZL1 grills? Do the SS grills fit?

I'm sure you may have answered that already but I was too busy thinking of something witty to say..... and now my head hurts

What ever happened to the real car guys? They weld the exhaust in place so they don't have to worry about a little scrape here and there and they knew the :rules: -- exhaust, headers and cats are SELF CLEARANCING. As for front and side fascias they keep painted spares in the garage painted and ready to go. If they even contemplated racing they knew their car couldn't possibly be low enough if it didn't throw sparks when you hit the brakes let alone the little bumps in the gas station.

There is no whining or complaining if you own a Muscle Car :paddle:

This is the end of this Public Service Announcement.
