So you have the date, August 1-3, 2013....now you have the place!

The organizers are very excited to announce that the largest 5th-generation Camaro track-day in the country is returning to Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis for one more year!

The attendance last year was the highest ever recorded at a Camaro Fest. And with over 1000 Camaros joining us throughout the weekend, we reached an enthusiast milestone as well!

The Camaro5 Fest has always represented the enthusiasm of the Camaro5 online forums brought to life in the 'real world'. With attendance reaching as high as it did, a resounding message was sent that our members are excited about this event and have high expectations when they drive across the country to enjoy each others' company!

Returning to Indianapolis once more offers a phenomenal opportunity to improve a number of aspects of the Fest, and we're thrilled at this point to offer a few details on the new improvements we're making to the Camaro5 Fest for your enjoyment.

CamaroCross: The new name for a completely revamped motorsport challenge. The CamaroCross team is streamlining all aspects of the event to make this the most exciting C5 Fest ever!

Meet'n'greet: We're going to relax the tone a little this year. By choosing not to do a cruise, this opens up time to really enjoy each other's company, clean your cars, and maybe even take a nap after a long days drive....to prepare for that long night at the host hotel!

Improved Accessibility and Information: Lost your track map or schedule? No problem! In an effort to improve awareness of event/vendor locations, we're placing maps and schedules at the back entrance of the hotel on Thursday night. We'll also have a strategically-located information booth with someone available at all times. If you have any questions, just look for someone wearing a staff shirt!

Drag Racing: Two days of drag racing with plenty of test & tune sessions and grudge matches for everyone to enjoy. Competitive time trials and eliminations will run inbetween open racing and culminate with trophy presentations. All drivers should be able to get virtually unlimited drag strip runs.

NO NO NO... don't do that. Could possibly be the wrong hotel... Details have not been worked out and the Speedway has given us new Hotel options this year. In fact last year they informed us they take care of this for a lot of other groups.

This is very important part of this years fest so please do not try and book or you may be disappointed. Discounts will also not be retroactive.

You might not want to book your room just yet. We will be announcing the host hotel, as well as group discount information, at a later date.
