Anyone going to Auto Club speedway...Fontana this weekend?
 

Heading out to first track day this Saturday....anyone else going to Fontana for some raging around the Roval? Going with Speed Ventures if anyone is interested. Pete

Wish I could, but I did it exactly a year ago for last Bimmerfest :)

BTW, make sure you max out your camber with a good track alignment before you go. It's needed for any track day, but ESPECIALLY at the roval, which can really wear the outsides of your right-side tires.

Scheduled for oil change, rear diff oil change and track alignment tomorrow morning! I think I saw one other 1LE on the list, should be fun! Cool weather and lots of BMW's to beat up on and piss off.

Your going to lay down some fast laps. Trust me.. Funny story..I changed my wifi hotspot on the car to read blue bimmer eater.That would be epic if you follow suite at bimmer fest. I had the bimmer guys at the track catch on the joke searching for wifi..

The no lift shift and eLSD is awesome ... and rev match sounds mean at turn 9

Agree need to have next years camaro fest out there. Need to get Matt at Leathal Camaro to see if he could work his magic with Speed Ventures.

lol he doesnt know them but i do... and yea having camaro con or camaro fest at fontana with the track open would be better than a mall parking lot 100%

Yeah I was at camaro con and was pretty bad ass to have 300 to 400 in the show and shine also others in the free camaro parking. I think they roughly said 700 camaros. But youre right getting something together next year at fontana would be trick. With Matt support and bringing the sponsors aboard could turn out to be the answer They mentioned a drag strip for next year maybe it is Fontana... not sure..

Is the drag strip there in a different location?

It's at Fontana also in the same area so not bad setup but it's not cheap to rent out both
