Engine Noise

So I noticed today that when my car is at idle that on the drivers side I have a knocking noise, like a lifter maybe or a fuel injector. And as you accelerate it speeds up and then disappears. Has anyone noticed or had this problem and if so what did you do? I have only run premium gas (93) and I used sea foam to clean everything nice and clean. Any suggestions as well.

Thanks Brandon

Yep, put a stethoscope on the first cylinder thought it was loud. Took it to the dealer and let the GM performance tech and GM heavy tech listen they thought it was just lifter drive train noise. Now after all that phobia, its no louder than the right. Just jam the throttle and quit worrying, if it turns out to be a lifter then you will know, but no since having the heads pulled just because you suspect...

True. I'm assuming it's just a normal ls motor noise.

I realize how displeasing it can be when faced with an engine noise like this Brandon, and though you're seeking thoughts and opinions, I would be happy to communicate this situation with the designated Customer Experience Manager at your preferred dealer. Feel free to message us privately if you'd like to proceed, or discuss this situation further.

Brandon, take your car back to the dealer for service by yourself. You don't need help from a second party to accomplish this. You simply drive to the service department and tell them your problem. Communicate with the dealer for yourself by yourself. P.s. I suspect this noise may be the supercharger isolator that owners have replaced with an aftermarket solid design. Hope this helps
