broke my side mirror backing up from my garage :(
 

I was in a hurry out of my garage, and i broke my side mirror (drivers side) :(. Its still there and it didnt fall off. Does any one know how much it costs for a new one ?

That definitely sucks. That's the type of mistake you only make once..

Is it just the glass or the whole mirror?

hmm .. its not the glass .. its the frame of the glass part

Im so afraid im going to do that I have less than 1/4" clearance

went to my dealership and they told me that I have to replace the entire mirror cause they dont sell the part I broke by itself .. about $230 without labor :(

ouch! Sorry for your bad luck!

side view mirror is VERY easy to install by yourself. there is a DIY on removing your door panel. After that, you just need to insert the mirror, plug the wires back up and screw the mirror down. If you must have them do it, because of warranty issues, i hope they don't screw you on labor costs.
